Fastt Math - 4 times a week 2. Pink Book - February Problem Set #3 due Friday (at least 2 problems) English Spelling 1. New Spelling unit assigned Thursday due 2/16/12 2. Study for Spelling test for 2/17/12 Science: All 5th graders have been assigned the task of inventing and building a toy for our Toy Fair demonstrating Newton's Laws of Motion. Each student received a two-sided paper detailing the requirements for this project. Ask to see this paper so you can get started. The Toy Fair will be in mid February. Final date will be confirmed after Mr R checks for conflicts on the school calendar. Social Science 1. Current Event paper due on Friday 2. Study for States and Capitals Final Test on all 50 states & capitals: Test on Tues., Feb. 7 Writing 1. Students are beginning to write either a "Procedure" detailing how to build their "toy" or a persuasive essay which convinces others why they should buy their toy.
